Art in Engineering
BelQuette engineers industrial grade
digital flatbed inkjet printing systems that are on the cutting edge of
digital-direct printing technology. BelQuette’s printing systems are
the best way to print direct-to-garment to make customized, promotional,
and personalized t-shirts and garments in the shortest amount of time.
In just minutes you can have your customized digital artwork
beautifully printed directly on a myriad of products.
Celebrating 15 Years!
Yes, it’s actually
been 15 years since Brett and Mark started BelQuette in the basement of
Mark's house in Cincinnati, Ohio. It all began with the introduction of
our first flatbed inkjet printer called Imaginail which could inkjet
directly onto people’s fingernails. The attraction of this project
wasn't the substrate but the challenge of engineering an inkjet printer
that would be able to print high quality images on media that was as
unusual as people's fingernails. It was difficult in those early days to
convince others to place their hands into a black box with moving parts
and strange noises, all in the name of research. Mark and Brett
succumbed to being the test dummies, wearing the experimental coatings
and colors for weeks on end. Since that time, we have continued to forge
ahead in developing and manufacturing alternative flatbed printers that
have printed on various products from inflated footballs to large
format pre-stretched artist canvas to t-shirts. The first digital
garment printer concept was developed by BelQuette for Scott Fresner in 2003 and eventually
lead to the design and manufacture of our first commercially viable
digital garment printer, the Flexi-Jet.
This
year marks our 15th year in business and our strongest year to date.
The year was spent with heavy research and development in various
disciplines; we have expanded all aspects of our company from
engineering, manufacturing, to customer service, and sales .
Additionally, we will be moving into a much larger engineering and
production facility in Clearwater, Florida to meet our current and
future demands. This year’s growth has spawned many breakthroughs and
patentable solutions from which our industry will greatly benefit and we
are very excited about the advancements that are in store for the
garment printing industry.
We look forward to exceeding your expectations with revolutionary solutions that satisfy your needs now and in the future.
